Pulpwood Piled up on the Madawaska River

Description: During winter, workers dug a hole in the ice and pulled out wood that remained in the river after the drive was over. We can see piles of wood on the Madawaska River. That wood was transported by sled and horses. Sometimes tractors were also used.
