Description: After Fraser stopped using the river drive method to ship pulpwood to the Edmundston Mill they had to cleanup the old sunken wood along the bottom of the river from the St. Jacques Sluice up to the Haul Up at the mill. This is one of the barges they used. The wood was brought to a conveyor along the bank just below the flume. It was used in the mill.
