Description: This is near the end of trail for the pulpwood harvested by Fraser Companies Limited in the Green River forests of Northern New Brunswick. The logs are driven down the river to the Davis Mill Dam. Here they are being directed by men armed with pike poles into the haul-up which carries them out of the river to the loading shed where they are piled on trucks and taken to the pulp and paperboard mill of the company in Edmundston.
