Description: A carpet of pulpwood harvested in the managed forests of Fraser Companies Limited in Northern New Brunswick covers Green River just before the Davis Mill Dam, about two miles up the river from its junction with the St. John River. The crop is being directed by men armed with pike poles onto the haul-up and carried out of the water to a loading platform where they are piled on trucks and taken to the company's pulp and paperboard mill in Edmundston.
