Description: Salvaging wood from the Madawaska River in 1972. Wood that sunk at the bottom of the river caused pollution. For that reason, environment laws required that Fraser companies clean up the Madawaska River after the last spring drive in 1967. This crane was used to dredge the wood from the river bottom and to deposit the logs in the boats.
