Description: From 1955 onward, Fraser hired workers to retrieve logs from the bottom of the Madawaska River in winter. This allowed a cleaning of the river and salvaging of wood sunk to the river bottom. We see two sleds being drawn by horses on the Madawaska River. Horses carried this wood to the Fraser mill in Edmundston.
