Description: The Summit Depot was located along the Right Hand Branch of Belone Brook, in the Green River area about four km from Third Lake. It was at the Summit Depot, from 1938 to 1975, that equipment, merchandise, and food were stored before being distributed to the camps in the region. It was also at the Summit Depot that were built the Quonset huts. Those camps had a semicircular arching roof of corrugated metal.
