The Summit Depot was located along the Right Hand Branch Belone Brook, about four km from Third Lake. It was at the Summit Depot from 1938 to 1975 that equipment, merchandise and food were stored before being distributed to the other camps of the region. The Summit Depot was also the site of the construction of Quonset huts. These huts were had a semicircular arching roof of corrugated metal.
