Description: Storage building at the Summit Depot in the Green River area in the 1940s. The Summit Depot was located along the Right Hand Branch Belone Brook, about four kilometers from Third Lake. It was at the Summit Depot that equipment, merchandise, and food were stored before being distributed to the various camps of the area. The Summit Depot also served at the site where Quonset camps were built. Those camps had a semicircular arching roof of corrugated metal.
