Description: We see an aluminum pipe under a road on August 20th, 1971. Aluminum pipes were used for their capacity to withstand the weight of passing vehicles. This pipeline was leading to the liquid waste treatment basin of Iroquois. This system was part of a new anti-pollution process of the Edmundston Fraser pulp mill.
