Description: A bird's-eye view of the Edmundston Fraser pulp mill installations, as seen here on August 1st, 1977. The main administration office building is located in front of the pulp and paperboard mills. The first building on the right is the wood room where 4-foot logs were barked. The second building is the groundwood room, where logs were transformed into wood chips. The forth building is the thermal plant where steam was produced. In front of it we notice the waste-heat oven. We see the Jensen bleaching tower and the bleachery. In the back, we see the digester where chips were cooked and transformed into chemical pulp.
