Description: Pulp is washed and cleaned at the washing and screening department located on the left. The bleachery is located between the washing and screening department and the digester at the back of the footbridge. That is where pulp was washed and bleached. The digester is on the left of the Jensen tower. Chips were cooked here. The Jensen towers stored the bisulfite for the digester.Completely on the right we see the heat recovery cogeneration plant that produced heat energy for both the Edmundston Fraser pulp and paperboard mills, as seen in 1981.
