Description: This edition of the Revue de la Société historique du Madawaska deals with the logging industry in Saint Léonard, Saint Léonard Parent, and Van Buren, Maine. The main item in this edition is the "Évolution de l'industrie forestière en Marévie entre 1910 et 1970" which is the result of a study conducted by Objectif-Quatre. Four other articles are published in this edition of the "Revue." There is an inventory of the sawmills of Northwestern New Brunswick. Then we find an article by Sister Catherine Jolicoeur on the legend of the "Rocher du diable" (the Devil's rock). A short genealogy of the Cyrs of Madwaska county is written by Mr. Roland Cyr. And, finally, an article on the Isidore Cyr house written by the study group for the project "À la découverte de la République du Madawaska".
