Description: This edition of the Revue de la Société historique du Madawaska deals with everyday life in the Madawaska region from 1785 to 1985. The fresco, work of the artist Claude Picard, is reproduced on the cover of the Revue. This fresco was created to commemorate the bicentennial of the arrival of the first French inhabitants in Madawaska. There is a short biography of Mr. Picard and a detailed explanation of the historical fresco.
