Description: This landing for 16-foot logs on the Little Tobique River just below Lake Nictau is being whittled away in the annual spring log drive down the river to the Fraser Companies Limited Sawmill in Plaster Rock, N. B., some 60 miles away. In the background, the river is jammed with logs flowing from upstream. It will be freed when the stack of logs in the center rear is pried loose.
