Description : Here in the Green River area in 1956, Mr. Léon Hébert stands on firm ground for a few minutes. Mr. Hébert was part of the spring drive and, during winter, he was a lumber camp foreman. Notice a drive barge in the forefront. Those robust boats were strongly built to maneuver between logs and to resist bumps from logs drawn in the swift current.
