Description : The 1934 Timber Cruise in the Kedgwick area. Here we see a man in front of a tent. To determine the area of the assessment, they could use a chain to measure the distance or use the strip sampling method. They would then walk 17.5 feet in one direction and repeat it in the opposite direction for a total width of 35 feet. The cruise was done inside those limits.
