Description : This conveyer was located on the Baisley Road on the Québec side of the border. We see trucks getting ready to unload logs on a haul-up. This conveyer made piles of logs along the Madawaska River in Québec. Wood also came from the Green River woodlands. A private road was used by trucks to bring wood to this site since it was faster and cheaper for Fraser Company.
