The Plaster Rock Fraser Sawmill in 1955

Description : Fraser sawmill was located along the Tobique River in Plaster Rock. It was built in 1906. We can see the sawmill shelter below as photographed in 1955. Notice the smoke-stack indicating where bark and other waste was burned to produce steam energy. We see, at right, the water tank to be used in case of fire.
