Description : From 1955 onward, the Fraser company hired workers to retrieve wood from the bottom of the Madawaska River in winter. They cleaned the river bottom and salvaged pulpwood. We see a man piling wood that was salvaged from the Madawaska River. This pulpwood will be transported to the Fraser mill in Edmundston.
