Description : Trucks unload their cargos of pulpwood at the landing on the Madawaska River just above the of the Fraser Companies Limited pulp and paper mill in Edmundston, N. B. This site was also used during winter. Trucks would bring pulpwood to this site where it would be stacked on the river's frozen surface. Around two-thirds of the pulpwood harvested in this region was trucked from the cutting locations to landings on the Madawaska River.
