Description : Mr. Donald Fraser Senior was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1842. He was the father of Donald Jr and Archiald Fraser. In 1873, he settled in Kincardine, New Brunswick. He bought a mill at River de Chute, N.B. in 1877. He built a sawmill in Fredericton in 1894. In 1911, he acquired the James Murchie Mill located along the Madawaska River in Edmundston. He died on April 1st, 1916.
