Description : The Madawaska Maine Fraser Paper Limited mill was built in 1925. The bisulphite pulp produced at the Edmundston pulp mill was transported by pipeline to the Madawaska, Maine paper mill. Pulp was thus exempt of duty fees. This photo was taken before the installation of the Number 7 paper machine.
