Description : Mr. Thomas Matheson wrote a history of Fraser Companies from 1873 to 1946. He relates the arrival of the Scottish family of Mr. Donald Fraser Senior and the construction of the first sawmills. Later, the Matheson and Brebner families joined the Frasers. He wrote about the expansion of the Fraser Companies in New Brunswick and in the Témiscouata region of the province of Québec.
